The Candela GentleYag Pro-U is the gold standard of Nd:YAG 1064nm lasers for hair removal services, delivering high peak power at fast speeds for effective hair removal services in short treatment times. As the 1064nm wavelength is absorbed into Haemoglobin, the GentleYAG Pro-U delivers its best results on dark skin types (IV-V) with dark hair to maximise effectiveness while reducing the risk to the client.

Further due to its absorption into Haemoglobin, it can deliver effective results in the treatment of vascular conditions.

There are a two primary configurations of handpieces available for your consideration, which are outlined below:

DCD Handpieces - These provide cooling using a cryogen gas which is emitted on each pulse of the laser to cool the skin. This is the recommended handpiece for pigmentation and vascular services, as well as hair removal services in more delicate areas such as brazilian and underarms.

ACC Handpieces - These provide cooling via an external system providing a continuous stream of cold air to the client, most commonly the Zimmer. These are more cost effective in high volume practices, or when completing large treatment zones for hair removal.
